  1. TrainingBase for 16 bit Windows -- Readme file
  2.  
  3. TrainingBase is distributed electronically. Prior 
  4. to registering TrainingBase you may use it as 
  5. shareware subject to copyright laws. As shareware 
  6. this program's databases are limited to a maximum 
  7. of 50 records. When you register TrainingBase you 
  8. will receive a code to enter which will allow you 
  9. an unlimited number of records in your database. 
  10. A set of disks will not be sent after registration, 
  11. as you already have all the necessary files to run
  12. the full version of TrainingBase, unless you 
  13. specifically order them. If you include an email 
  14. address you will receive your code by email with 
  15. a confirming letter, otherwise you will only 
  16. receive a letter.

  18. (If you have downloaded TrainingBase in a single
  19. self-extracting file see the instructions in the
  20. disk.txt file for creating a set of 3.5" disks.)

  22. The cost to register a copy of TrainingBase is $39.95 
  23. (California residents add sales tax).

  121. INSTALLATION NOTES:
  122.  
  123. If you have installed a previous version of
  124. TrainingBase which had an uninstall option please
  125. run the uninstall program prior to installing
  126. this version. (Although the
  127. uninstall program will not delete your database
  128. files it is always a good idea to back up the 
  129. files. (with an ".MDB" extension) To determine 
  130. which version of TrainingBase you have go to the 
  131. About box and check the version number.

  133. To install TrainingBase on your hard disk if 
  134. you have downloaded it electronically:
  135.  
  136.   1. Run Tbase16.exe in a temporary directory.
  137.   2. Choose the Run command from the File menu 
  138.      in Windows Program Manager or File Manager.
  139.   3. Type "c:\temp\setup.exe" (substitute the 
  140.      appropriate drive and directory for your
  141.      temporary directory).
  142.   4. Press Enter.
  143.   5. Follow the on screen prompts.

  145. To install TrainingBase if you have purchased 
  146. TrainingBase on disk:
  147.     
  148.   1. Insert Disk 1 in drive A.
  149.   2. Choose the Run command from the File menu in 
  150.      Windows Program Manager or File Manager.
  151.   3. Type A:\SETUP (substitute the appropriate 
  152.      drive letter for your system).
  153.   4. Press Enter.
  154.   5. Follow the on screen prompts.
